A little about myself:

I have been sewing for 38 years and I have sewn everything from men's underwear (yes, underwear) to sewing everything for a bedroom. I love taking a piece of fabric and turning it into something unique. I also love to scour thrift shops and antique stores for vintage sweaters, vests, buttons and anything else that I can use to turn into a wonderful purse.

For a long time I wanted to have my own website to sell my purses. Everything on this website was done by me. I don't have any background in graphic design and it has taken me 8 long months of trial and error to build this site. I have a very good friend that designs websites as a hobby and she wouldn't do mine because she wanted me to learn to do it. She has guided me along the way and has offered constructive criticism. I gave up many times out of frustration, but I kept on with it and I am happy with the end result. Please don't copy anything off of my site because I worked hard and long to make all the graphics and the purses. I don't steal, so I hope you won't either.

If you are wondering about the name of the website, it is named after my two cats. Blue is a wedge head siamese and Butter is a sphynx. They are my babies and they love to help when I'm sewing.

My bags are all designed and made by me and I make them out of all kinds of fabrics, trims, beads and vintage buttons. I also love to use reclaimed items. I will see a vest or a sweater and it seems to beg me to make a purse! On some of the purses, I will sew most of it by hand because there are just some places I can't get my machine to go! I am constantly thinking up new bag designs so please visit often
